IDEs for the Copado CLI
An integrated development environment (IDE) is a software tool that allows developers and programmers to write and test code.
In Copado, you can use an IDE to work with the Copado CLI. The Copado CLI is technically supported by any IDE. However, for Salesforce development, the IDE has to be connected to an org so that it can get its schema and do things like autocomplete based on the classes and objects that exist. When saving, not only the local file is saved, but also it is saved to the servers, so that developers can test their work in progress.
