Default Org Credential

When you create an org credential, Copado allows you to select it as default org credential. Default org credentials are automatically added by Copado to all promotions where the destination org is the same org as that of the credential, regardless of the user that is creating the promotion.

To mark a credential as default, simply select the Default Credential checkbox in the relevant Org Credential record:

If you do not want this credential to be applied to all promotions and you just want to use it only if the deploying user doesn’t have an org credential in the destination org, you can change the default value in the Promotion Default Credential field in the Environment record of the destination org and select Only If User Has No Org Credential:

The same behavior applies to validation promotions, the default credential of the destination org is always selected by default in all validation promotions. If you want to apply this behavior only if the deploying user doesn’t have an org credential in the destination org, you can update the Validation Promotion Default Credential field in the Environment record of the destination org and select Only If User Has No Org Credential:
