A variable is a container that stores a piece of data. Variables can be used in a variety of cases, for instance, if you are deploying users to different environments and you want to make sure the email address is the correct one in each environment, or if you are working with Salesforce Flow deployment steps.
When working with a Salesforce Flow deployment step, Copado provides the following predefined dynamic variables:
Copado Org Id
Company organization Id found in the Org Id field in the Environment record of the Copado org.
Org Credential Id
Id of the Org Credential record in the Copado org.
API key of the user in the Copado org.
Destination Org Id
Company organization Id found in the Org Id field in the Environment record of the destination org.
Destination Org Credential Id
Id of the Org Credential record in the destination org.
Source Org Id
Company organization Id found in the Org Id field in the Environment record of the source org.
Source Org Credential Id
Id of the Org Credential record in the source org.
Id of the Deployment record.
Deployment Job Id
Id of the deployment job.
Id of the Promotion record.
Copado sends the resume URL to the third-party tool so that the third-party tool can easily update the executed job as completed or failed.
