Dynamic Variables

A variable is a container that stores a piece of data. Variables can be used in a variety of cases, for instance, if you are deploying users to different environments and you want to make sure the email address is the correct one in each environment, or if you are working with Salesforce Flow deployment steps.

When working with a Salesforce Flow deployment step, Copado provides the following predefined dynamic variables:

Copado Org Id

Company organization Id found in the Org Id field in the Environment record of the Copado org.

Org Credential Id 

{!CopadoOrg.CredentialId}

Id of the Org Credential record in the Copado org.

API Key

{!CopadoOrg.APIKey}

API key of the user in the Copado org.

Destination Org Id

{!Destination.OrgId}

Company organization Id found in the Org Id field in the Environment record of the destination org.

Destination Org Credential Id

{!Destination.CredentialId}

Id of the Org Credential record in the destination org.

Source Org Id

{!Source.OrgId}

Company organization Id found in the Org Id field in the Environment record of the source org.

Source Org Credential Id

{!Source.CredentialId}

Id of the Org Credential record in the source org.

Deployment Id

{!Deployment.Id}

Id of the Deployment record.

Deployment Job Id

{!Deployment.JobId}

Id of the deployment job.

Promotion Id

{!Promotion.Id}

Id of the Promotion record.
